An entire Netherworld full of badass fighters, and the first fuckin' tournament I see around here is for a motherfuckin' CARD GAME?! The hell is wrong with you all?!

*Reisen surprisingly manages to fend off the first five or so blows, but it soon starts to become obvious that she can't keep up with Li's attacks... not unless she wants to 'cheat' and use her powers, anyway, because an optic blast would certainly give her the advantage...*

Which would kinda defeat the purpose, really.

Li finally finishes things, circling around and finally throwing Reisen to the ground with a blow that launches her a bit of a distance. She moves back, waiting to see if Reisen's still got any energy left in her.

*Reisen hits the ground painfully, lying still for a few seconds... and then she slowly pulls herself up, shakily getting back to her feet*

*she's endured harsh training before, and she doesn't look like she's ready to give up*

Not bad, but I can definitely tell yer used to distance fightin'. When's the last time you had to get in close t' someone? You move like you got a wee bit more time to move than you actually got.

Before coming to the Netherworld... in a serious fight... it's been awhile...

... I don't know if it counts... but I've been dusting off my old sword training lately since a month or two ago...

Place like this, extra trainin' in anything couldn't hurt none. Far as I can tell, fightin' fair are dirty words.

Mm... and I can't always rely on my danmaku. Losing my powers taught me that much...
