Li sits at her favorite spot near the cracked boulder, with its small "shrine" of sorts, staring out at the view, sitting cross-legged.

Signs 'a recent battles... buncha refugees fleein' left and right... smoke in the distance every dang place I scope out fer trainin'... alien monsters... and now crazy people left and right...

She claps her hands to her head and shakes it in frustration.

Awwwww GODDAMN IT! I thought we had this shit sorted! What the fuck is going ON around here lately?! I know I missed the last big battle, but I weren't in THIS much of a rush fer shit to go down!

She blinks a bit at the new arrival, then sighs.

I don't much like complex. Simple's th' way to go. I ain't ever been a complex person even before the old bastard took me in. *shakes her head*

Chaos is never simple. Simple is ordered, predictable... Ultimately, more fallible. A perfect ordered Netherworld would be one easy to subvert, with a weaker Overlord.

The best we can do is try and find the advantages in the chaos, ultimately.

I guess. I ain't exactly sure what th' advantages are in a case like this, though.

Training.

You're up against a vastly numerous, highly insidious threat, one capable, as we've more recently observed, of turning allies into enemies.

Sounds like an ideal practice run for facing Baal, to me.
